Professional does not mean the same as accredited!  In our digital era, there are many untrained or weekend photographers who believe professional photography is simply about buying an expensive camera......  Although the industry is not regulated, there are professional bodies (AIPP, ACMP) that photographers can join, after having their work assessed and accepted. Once a member, they then need to conduct business according to a strict code of ethics set out by these professional bodies.  When you are shopping around, ensure you choose a photographer that is a member of the AIPP or ACMP.  If we are not the right photographer for you, we will be happy to refer you on.

There is nothing as joyous as celebrating a new birth and watching a child grow to maturity. But sometimes tragedy interrupts through premature birth, stillbirth, ill infants and terminal illness.

 

That is where the Australian Charity of Child Photographers (ACOCP) can make a gift of life.

 

The ACOCP is a non-profit, volunteer organization all across Australia.  All 42 photographers donate their time & talent as successful professional photographers in their own right, to provide a caring photographic session either in hospital, patient’s home or convenient location.
